Bosa has a population of around 8000 and is a real working town. It is located on the north west coast of Sardinia, approximately 50km south of Alghero and has stunning and picturesque scenery.

Tourists who come to Bosa tend to look for culture, history, natural and architectural beauty as well as sun and sand. For people with a sense of adventure, every day will bring a new discovery as there are plenty of things to explore.

If you are looking for a place with lots of bars and clubs and late night action then Bosa might not be the place for you. There are a few places in Bosa Marina which stays open late, however the choice is not huge and the clientele barely old enough to drive. The cafes and restaurants in and around the old quarter stays open fairly late.

There are, however, plenty of other things to do and see, the atmosphere is relaxed and laid back and an excellent destination for a romantic break or family holidays.
