As the house is located just behind the main street Vittorio Emanuele II, means that shops and supermarkets are within easy reach from the house. There are many shops selling local produce and sardinian specialities as well as the local wine La Malvasia, a sherry like wine produced in a valley south of Bosa.
There are however also several larger supermarkets just a short drive away, within the newer part of town or across Ponte Vecchio towards Macomer.
There is a weekly market on Tuesday mornings on Corso Garibaldi where you can buy fresh produce such as vegetables, olives, meats and cheeses, household goods and clothes.
For a bigger choice of clothes, shoes and leather goods head to Alghero, where there is a bigger variety of shops and a weekly market on Wednesdays.
There are cash machines at the banks or local post office, and internet cafes on Piazza Nationale. The post office also exchanges money and is located on Via Pischedda.
