The 18 hole golf course, at "Is Arenas golf and country club", is less than one hour drive away, south towards Oristano.

Watersports can however be pursued locally at Bosa Marina beach or along the river, where you can hire surf boards, kayaks or learn to kite-surf. Diving and snorkling can be arranged through agencies in town and you can hire boats from the marina and explore the beautiful coast.

There is also a wide variety of boat trips leaving from the marina in Alghero, quite busy but worth a daytrip.
